Frequently Asked Questions

What are the set times for an event?

We only get sent the set times for events a couple of days beforehand.

Please check the website page or our social media, we will most likely share the timings in these places.

If the set times are not available, it can often be assumed that a performance will start 30 minutes after doors open and be finished by 11pm.

What does the time on my ticket mean?

All tickets bought from our website will display the time that doors open. The event usually starts 30 minutes after this time.

When is last entry?

Most events do not have a last entry, but if it does, it will say on the event page and on your ticket.

Are events seated or standing?

Every event is different. It will say online on the event page and it will say on your ticket whether the event is seated or standing.

Seated events will display as Unreserved Seating or Reserved Seating.

Standing events will display as General Admission.

What if I am going to a standing event and require a seat?

We always have a small seated area open to anyone who requires it.

Just let a member of staff know on the day and they will point you towards our fenced-off seated area.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, there is a lift up to the first floor and a ramp into the studio.

You are also welcome to use our fenced-off disabled area at standing events.

We also have a disabled toilet but you will need to ask a member of staff for the key.

How do I get a carer ticket?

If you require a carer or personal assistant, this person can come in for free without a ticket. So long as you have a ticket for yourself and your plus one can provide proof of their carer status.

Proof of carer status includes the following:
Attendance Allowance Letter (AA)
Carers’ Allowance Letter of Award
Disability Living Allowance Letter (DLA)
Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
Armed Forces Independence Payments (AFIP)
Valid Blue Badge

Where can I buy tickets?

The best way to buy tickets is through our website. That way we can easily access them for you without going through a third-party ticket seller.

What does 'Unreserved Seating' mean?

This means that you are guaranteed to get a seat but it is allocated on a first come first serve basis.

What payment types do you take?

Our bar and box office can take cash or card payments including; Apply Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Contactless, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Discover, Union Pay and JCB.

Do you offer group discounts?

It depends on the event. Get in touch with us if you are unsure.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

We always advise that you purchase advanced tickets on our website, however, we do sell tickets on the door so long as the advanced tickets haven't sold out.

What do I do if I lost my ticket?

Do I need to print my tickets?

No, you can show us your e-ticket on your phone, a printed ticket or your booking reference, all will work.

Can I get a refund?

If the event is postponed or cancelled then you are entitled to a full refund, otherwise all events are non-refundable.

If you purchased insurance or cover for your tickets then you will be able to access a refund through the cover provider.

You are welcome to re-sell your ticket to someone else, this can be done through our partnership with Ticketswap.uk

Where can I find the latest announcements?

The latest announcements will always be posted on our social media pages first: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

You can also sign-up to our mailing list and get the announcements in a weekly email newsletter.

If an event is Sold Out, will there be another ticket release?

If the event has Sold Out then there will not be any more official releases.

We recommend checking Ticketswap.uk for anyone who may be looking to resell their tickets.

Do you have a venue presale for tickets?

Yes, you can access it by subscribing to our mailing list.

Will I or my bags be searched on entry?

Sometimes; it depends on the capacity of the event and the judgement of our security team.

Always prepare to be searched, just in case.

Can I bring in my own food or drinks?

Unless it is a private or corporate event or you require food/drink for medical reasons then we will not allow you to bring it in.

Our bar will be open for you to access drinks and sometimes food is available.

Do you sell food or drinks?

There is a bar in the studio which will be open at all events for drinks.

The bar stocks bar snacks at all events and sometimes we have a third party food provider for events.

Is there an age restriction?

If an event has an age restriction this will be made clear on event page. If there is nothing on the page, our venue policy is 14+ and under 14's can enter with an accompanied adult (18+)

We do operate the Challenge 25 scheme meaning if you look under 25 you may be asked for ID on the door and/or at the bar.

Do you have a cloakroom?

We do have a cloakroom, but it is not open for every event. In the case that it is not open, we will put out a clothes rail in the main studio for any coats you may want to hang up.

Who do I contact for lost property?

Please email or call us with a description of the item and we will get back to you if it is found.

If you have made us aware, we will keep the item until you can come and pick it up in person. Items left unclaimed for 30 days get donated to charity.

Do you have a car park?

We do not have our own customer car park, but there is a pay and display car park just behind us on Edward Street which is open 24 hours.

Do you have a smoking/vaping area?

Our smoking area is outside the front door to the left. We do not allow any form of smoking or vaping inside the studio, anyone caught doing so will be asked to leave.

Are you an inclusive venue?

We endeavour to make sure everyone feels welcome and safe in our venue.

We do have a gender neutral toilet.

If you feel uncomfortable in anyway please let a member of our security team know.
