The Tiffen Rota Pola 138 mm is a high-precision geared rotating circular polariser system designed for cinematography, broadcast and rental workflows where a large-format polariser is required for wide-coverage lenses
Housed in a 4 × 5.65? (ARRI R2) tray format, the system integrates a 138 mm ultra-thin circular polariser with a geared ring for smooth adjustment. When paired with an optional 4 × 5.65? circular polariser it also allows variable neutral density (VND) or warm/cool colour-shift effects

Black Supermist softens the fine detail and reduces the contrast, but is more subtle than a standard Supermist with less lightening of shadow areas. It still has the same effect of causing lights to bloom and halate depending on the density of the filter.
