A large-format diffusion textile measuring 12 feet by 12 feet (3
66 × 3.66 m) made from “Full Grid” density grid cloth—engineered to soften light significantly while maintaining good beam control and directionality. According to manufacturer guidance, “Full Grid Cloth … a stronger diffusion effect … 2 ½ stops light loss” and is especially appropriate for large frames, overhead butterflies/soft-boxes and location work.
One vendor lists their 8×8 version as “heavy diffusion … takes roughly 2 stops … built-in ties … outdoor/overhead use” which gives guidance for the 12×12 size as well.
