A 2? Poly Holder is a specialist clamp accessory used in film, TV and commercial production to securely hold 50 mm (“2 in”) polyboard sheets (opaque white/black bounce boards) or diffusion/reflective surfaces
It allows the polyboard to be mounted to a grip stand, C-stand or flag arm, enabling fixed placement of bounce/reflect surfaces in lighting setups. For example, the model from Doughty (G1147) is described as “a floor-standing Poly Holder to suit 50mm (2?) Poly Boards.”
